Scenarios for Automated Vehicles in Sweden

There many visions and ideas about how the future with automated and connected vehicles will look like - from private vehicles that can transport the family's member to work and school and then go and pick up, to improved shared transport where automated vehicles contribute with last mile transports to complement public transport.

In this project we investigate potential future scenarios for the development of automated vehicles in Sweden. The work is performed by a working group with representatives from KTH/ITRL, VTI and Kairos Future, and an expert group with representatives from several vehicle manufacturers, transport operators, researchers and policy makers.
