LiU and KTH held workshop at ITRL on Electrification of road freight
Qualitative meets quantitative

In May, 16 researchers from Linköping University and KTH met in a workshop at ITRL to share ideas and identifying areas of collaboration within the field of electric road freight transports.
The researchers represented several different research approaches and disciplines, both qualitative and quantitative. First, each researcher made a short presentation about their view of road electric road freight transport. Topics spanned from drivers’ challenges and opportunities and analysis of stakeholder collaborations to system dynamics modeling and explorative model analysis. This was followed by an open space workshop, where conversation groups were formed around topics such as complexity, resource sharing, and how individuals influence the electrification.

It was an engaging day, with a lot of energy, and we look forward to follow up with the collaborations between the researchers both in short and long term.
