Want to catch a glimpse of the future of transportation and meet the researchers behind it? Welcome to our Open House! Swing by ITRL on August 31st to view – and test – our demo stations and learn more about or work. Highlights:
The Research Concept Vehicles platforms. Three advanced rolling vehicle platforms used in research, demonstration and education concerning future sustainable transport systems.
Our Remote driving station. A highly immersive virtual driving arena, complete with force feedback, a sophisticated sound system, and a driver's seat with motion simulator.
The Smart Mobility Lab. Pushes the limits of mobility by proposing new approaches to transportation problems. Use in-house built research platforms like drones and full-scale concept vehicles.
The Space Robotics Lab. We explore frictionless control and multi-vehicle interaction in a simulated space environment.
And talking about cool transportation; Meet the students from KTH Hyperloop (“The fifth mode of transportation”) and for race car fans: KTH Formula Student.
There will also be a mingle with appetizers and beverages, so make sure you register so we can order enough food for everyone!
